The Type Library comprises more than 4,000 items covering typography, printing and the related subjects of paper and binding, graphic design, typefaces and calligraphy, and the social and economic aspects of printing. The collection is of interest to anyone with either an academic, professional or passing concern for typography and its allied subjects and its contents allow for all aspects of the cultural, practical and technical achievements of the industry to be studied.
